Thanksgiving 2013

We decided not to travel for Thanksgiving this year and instead stayed home and hosted Tate, Donna, and their twins, Will and Claire, for Thanksgiving dinner.  Despite being sad about not going to Atlanta to see the DeNiro side of the family this holiday, we really enjoyed the low key and travel-free break from work and school.
We started off the week with Caroline's Thanksgiving program at school. Caroline was very excited to be a singing pilgrim and did a great job!

The girls decorating turkey and leaf cookies on Wednesday...
A very "cheesy" Julia.
Focused Margaret
Caroline's cookies had an over abundance of sprinkles on them.
Finally, Thanksgiving Day was here! And Mommy barely took any pictures because it was such a busy day!
Crazy-haired Julia insisted on going with Mommy on her walk in the morning. It was SO cold, so we broke out her snow suit.
Too funny not to share. This about sums up Margaret's mood on Thanksgiving Day (and the whole week, really).
The only picture we got of all three girls.
Margaret was far more interested in "fruit smoothies" than turkey.
Sweet cousin Claire
Best part of Thanksgiving? Dessert, of course!
Will and Caroline roughhousing after dinner.
Julia couldn't resist the temptation to join in the fun.
