Splash!

With temperatures hitting 90 in Richmond this week, it sure is nice to have a friend with a pool! We hit the water yesterday in my first-ever attempt to "swim" with two infants and a toddler. Trust me, there were enough safety flotation devices to choke a horse and plenty of extra helping hands to make sure all of those little heads stayed above the water line.
Thankfully, it was a great success. Caroline was a little timid throughout her first swim of the season, but to listen to her afterwards you'd have thought she'd swum the entire length of the pool and back all by herself! Julia was happy as a clam drifting around in her baby raft - the sweet girl floated in silence for nearly 30 minutes. Margaret was not quite the water baby I thought she would be, but as long as Mommy was holding her, she was a happy camper.
Check out the good time we had...
Caroline was so excited to wear her new swimmies, she had to put them on as soon as she got up!

Feeling nervous but having a good time.

Margaret and Julia in a basket - would have been nice if we could've left them in there the whole time :)
