Paul was up to his usual antics - having a little too much to drink and then showing off some dangerously smooth moves out on the dance floor. I'm pretty sure there were sparks flying from the heels of his shoes at one point in the evening. Usually when Paul starts cutting a rug, I sit back and enjoy the show. But last night, I watched as an elderly (she was 75 if she was a day) woman started boogieing down with my husband and I decided that it was time for me to step in. I should have thought twice before messing with the "cougar" though. Just after I stepped in between her and Paul, I felt a surprisingly strong hand hit my shoulder and swat me away! I turned around to see the woman shaking her fist at me to stay away and then turning back to dance with Paul! I wasn't about to mess with her after that, so I just shimmied away and danced with my friends instead. Paul barely noticed the whole altercation because he was too absorbed in his own fantastic dancing :)
Other than being attacked on the dance floor, the remainder of the evening was uneventful but lots of fun. Caroline came with us to the venue but spent her evening with a babysitter. I checked on them a few times, and Caroline seemed to be having just as much fun as her Mommy and Daddy were (minus the alcohol of course).
We wish the Bucklers the very best as they begin their new life together!!

Check out Mason in his adorable outfit!! He was a good little boy and let his Mom and Dad enjoy the party!
