Gravity is Fun...for Caroline

So, a whole week went by and I failed to post anything. This was partly because nothing interesting happened last week and partly because I took a little blog vacation. But, now we're back and ready to post!

Some of you may have seen the video I posted a couple weeks ago of Caroline feeding the dogs by dropping her food off the highchair tray and onto the floor.

Well, she's found another fun place to drop things from: our front porch. We spend at least thirty minutes a day out there and it's quickly become one of Caroline's favorite play spots. It's a great place to enjoy the outdoors while being partly protected from the sun and it allows Caroline to play outside without me worrying about her wandering (or falling!) off. Lately, the porch has been a perfect place for Caroline to continue her experiment with gravity. Although it's not so fun for Mommy and Daddy, who are now constantly fishing toys out of the mulch and shrubs below. It's hard to get mad at her about though because right after she drops something overboard, she turns to us with this look that I'm pretty sure says, "Yes, I just dropped a toy off the porch, but didn't I look cute while doing it?"
