End of School Year Picture Post

Just like that, another school year is in the books! Caroline completed 1st grade with Mrs. Williamson and Julia and Margaret completed PreK (and their time at FPP) with Mrs. Woo, Mrs. Jamieson, Mrs. Lovelace, and Mrs. Cuce. All the girls had terrific school years and are very much looking forward to a fun and relaxing summer.

In May, Caroline had "Career Day" at school. She chose to be an artist.

One of the highlights of the year at FPP is the Mother's Day Tea. These ladies treated me to an wonderful time!

Collegiate hosted a JK Playdate for all rising JK students. The twins were excited to test out the JK playground and meet some of their new classmates.

We enjoyed a nice visit from Grandpa and Grandma in May.

Spring Picture Post

My, oh my, how time continues to fly by! Our days have been full of fun, family, and friends (and of course some drama interspersed!). With the exception of a string of recent rainy days, the spring weather has been fantastic, and we are enjoying every bit of it.
Caroline had THREE pieces of her art work selected for the Collegiate Art Walk!
Caroline and Daddy on a bike ride. Pay attention, Daddy!
All girl play dates are the best!
Peek-a-boo, I see you!

We finally planted our garden. Fingers crossed we get some crops to grow soon!
We've been finding fun critters around our house and in the yard.
This almost seven year old lost her second front tooth (the 4th tooth in all)!
Dress-up continues to be an all-time favorite game in the Hepper household.

This little piggie has been enjoying the sunshine and rolling around in the mulch!
We watched caterpillars form chrysalides and then turn into butterflies!
Time to let the butterflies go!

This about sums Julia up: asleep half of the bed and not a care in the world!

Easter 2016

Easter 2016 passed in a flash, but it was a wonderful weekend spent with Marmee and Grampy here in Richmond. We spent our time together baking for Easter, dying eggs, enjoying fun holiday events, and working on a special project in the backyard.

Let the record show that the girls' first-ever trip to Costco was (appropriately)with Grampy.
2016 is the year of our first backyard garden! Thanks to Daddy and Grampy, our garden box is built and ready for planting later this month.
Egg dying time!

We had breakfast with the Easter bunny at the Commonwealth Club.
The girls were thrilled to see a real bunny (brought by Johnathon the Juggler).
Margaret, in heaven with her doughnut.
The girls got to decorate enormous egg cookies.

After breakfast, it was on to church for the Easter egg hunt and craft time.
